As a member of the gaming community, I am always looking for ways to help improve the quality and stability of online game servers. One way that I have found to be particularly effective is by testing and evaluating game servers and the software that powers them in a self-hosted environment.

The platform we are using for these tests is TrueNAS Scale powered by a community catalog TrueCharts, which has a wide range of game servers available for testing and evaluation. However, there is one major obstacle that we have encountered in our efforts to do this: many of these game servers require a significant amount of money in order to be properly tested and evaluated. This includes the cost of purchasing the games that will be hosted on the servers, as well as any additional software or hardware that may be needed to set up in our self-hosted environment.

This can be a real problem for those of us who are passionate about gaming and want to contribute to the development of stable and reliable game servers, but don't have the financial resources to cover these costs. That's why we are reaching out to ask for your help in raising the funds needed to test and evaluate these game servers and the software that powers them using TrueNAS Scale and TrueCharts as the backbone for the game servers they offer.

Any donations that you can provide will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards helping the gaming community create and maintain high-quality game servers that provide a great experience for all players.

So if you believe in the importance of stable and reliable game servers, and want to help ensure that they are available to all, please consider making a donation to support the testing and evaluation of these game servers and the software that powers them in a self-hosted environment using TrueNAS Scale and TrueCharts as the community catalog. Together, we can make a real difference and help bring the best gaming experience to all players.

You can donate directly to Truecharts for the awesome community platform they are and join on the fun to test and evaluate the game servers they offer in the incubator and stable trains.

I am actively working on making the game servers and pushing them to stable with the help of the Truecharts community, so if you like my work and want to see your game server in the stable train, i would not mine getting some coffee for my time too :).

As the new year approaches, many people take the opportunity to set goals and make resolutions for themselves. One of your resolutions for the upcoming year may be to upgrade your home lab. This could involve a variety of tasks, such as purchasing new equipment, organizing and decluttering your current setup, or even building a new home lab from scratch.

There are many benefits to upgrading your home lab. A more organized and efficient lab will likely be easier to work in, which can help you be more productive and save time. Additionally, new equipment and technology can give you the opportunity to try out new techniques and expand your skills. Finally, a well-equipped and modern home lab can provide an excellent learning environment, whether you are a beginner or an experienced professional.

To achieve your resolution of upgrading your home lab, it may be helpful to make a plan and set specific goals. This could include identifying the specific equipment and resources you need, budgeting for any necessary purchases, and setting deadlines for completing different tasks. With a clear plan in place, you can work towards your resolution with confidence and determination, and ultimately create the home lab of your dreams.

I plan on upgrading my home lab with a new server rack and server rack cases which can be an exciting project for any tech enthusiast like this noob!

Stay tune for upcoming updates :)

After a very long break from life and "adulting". I plan on creating content and streaming on various social media platforms again, I am excited to get back into the swing of things. It can be intimidating to start again after being gone for so long 🥺, but I am looking forward to reconnecting with my audience and sharing new content with them. I have missed the excitement of creating and sharing my content, and I am eager to get back into the groove of things. I am also looking forward to interacting with my community and hearing their thoughts and feedback on my content. Overall, I am thrilled to be returning to creating and streaming on social media, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

I have decided to make a change in the type of content that I create and stream on social media. Previously, I focused just on gaming content, but I have over the year os so became interested in the field of IT and building a HomeLab. As a result, I will be shifting my focus to creating content related to IT and HomeLab building. While I am excited about this change and the new opportunities it presents, I also recognize that it may be a bit of a transition for my audience. I want to assure my community that I am still committed to providing high-quality content and engaging with them, even though the subject matter may be different. I am looking forward to exploring this new area and sharing my knowledge and experiences with my audience.
